I often visit my mother on Vancouver Island, so doing readings, workshops or presentations on the Island or in Vancouver is not a problem. And I’m happy to fly anywhere if travel fees are covered. When I do school readings I most often give away free books. If classrooms sizes are 25 or under I can give away a book to each child. More than that, I have to add fees.

One of my approaches is to start my session with an introduction to two different kinds of publishing worlds. One by one I invite children to the front of the class to represent each person who are part of the publishing process.
